Profile claims, corrections, and removal

You do not need an account to report a problem or ask Xuari to review information about you.

Last updated 26 July 2026.

1. Claim management access

A school, sensei, or authorised representative can request limited management access. Approval applies only to named profiles, can be revoked, and does not certify ownership or endorsement.

2. How authority may be checked

Xuari should use the least intrusive reliable method available.

  • A reply from an official school, organisation, or professional-domain email.
  • A confirmation through an official website or clearly attributable professional social account.
  • Data-minimised documentation only when simpler evidence is insufficient; unnecessary fields should be redacted.

3. Correct inaccurate information

Identify the exact profile field, explain the correction, and share a reliable source if available. A correction does not require claiming management access.

4. Object or request removal

Tell Xuari what information concerns you and why you want it removed. The result may be correction, restriction, de-indexing, or removal depending on the applicable rights, source, public interest, and need to preserve limited evidence.

5. Restriction while reviewing

Where accuracy, authority, or publication rights are genuinely disputed, Xuari may temporarily hide the affected field, image, or profile while the issue is checked.

6. Copyright and image complaints

Identify the protected work or image, where it appears, your relationship to the rights, and why the use is unauthorised. Copyright concerns are reviewed separately from profile ownership.

7. Acknowledgement and timing

Xuari aims to acknowledge a request within 5 working days, identify any missing detail, and explain the next step.

Data-protection rights requests receive a response within one month, which can be extended by two further months for complex requests, with notice. That legal deadline is separate from the acknowledgement target above.

8. Conflicting requests

If people make conflicting claims, Xuari should pause material changes when appropriate, ask each party for proportionate evidence, avoid publishing the evidence, record the reasoning, and escalate legal or safety-sensitive disputes.

9. No automatic re-import after removal

Content removed after a valid complaint should not be automatically added again from the same public source. Xuari should record a minimal suppression note and require human review before republication. The application still needs a dedicated suppression workflow before this control can be guaranteed technically.
